Women's Ministry
Welcome!
All women, all generations are welcome! It is not necessary to be a member of Central to participate in any event or study.

Mission
To mobilize women to boldly act on their faith in Jesus Christ.

Purpose
As a community of women, created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society and the world.

Women of Central is organized to participate in Bible Study, and other learning opportunities, to foster fellowship among women, and to respond to God’s love in our homes, in the church, in the community and in the world.

Women’s Bible Study of Proverbs returns!
Thursdays beginning May 1, 11:00 am -12:15 pm
What do Jeanne Phillips (aka Dear Abby) and Dr. Phil have in common? They both give advice! But, are their answers really the best? How can we know? What if they disagree? God made Solomon the wisest man who ever lived and chose him to write Proverbs so that we would have God’s answers. Our everyday decisions really do matter to Him. Join women of all ages on Thursdays beginning May 1, 11:00 am -12:15 pm for a 5 week study on how to apply each day’s Proverbs to your life. Bring your favorite Bible. Additional study materials will be provided. Sign up in the Welcome Book or at the Welcome Center.

Young Women's Bible Study
Beginning Tuesday, May 13, at 7:00 pm for young women ages 19 to 35.
This is a 5-week study, Crossing, from the Liquid Series. "Along the way, we reach points in our lives where we must decide whether to step out in faith and let God take control, or whether to let fear and insecurity paralyze us and keep us from crossing over. Making a crossing always calls for uncommon courage, faith, and obedience.” There is no fee, if you wish to have your own book, they are available for a suggested donation of $5 - $10. For more information or any questions, please contact Sarah Hillan at 612-483-0632 or email:
