In His Image

In His Image is a special needs children’s ministry. At Chapel Time during Sunday morning worship special needs children are paired with “buddies” to assist them at whatever level is needed. Using a team approach, we have a core group of dedicated volunteers who give each child one-on-one attention during Chapel Time on a monthly rotational basis. Sometimes the special needs child and their buddy are able to participate in the same class with their age group while another time the child and their buddy are in a quiet place. By providing a safe, loving and welcoming atmosphere for their child, the parents can comfortably attend and remain in worship. Additional help is needed so we can serve more families with special needs children. Make a new friend; be a friend. All ages are welcome to help!
