Children's Chapel

We welcome children ages 3 years old through fifth grade to our Sunday morning Children’s Chapel learning time. It is held during all morning worship services. We believe it is important for families to worship together. During our worship services, children are dismissed during the announcements. They proceed out of the Sanctuary into the Lobby and over to the main stairs to meet their learning time leaders.   Then they proceed to go to a large group learning time planned for their age level. We have two age groups Preschool-Kindergarten, and 1st-5th grade. Our younger children meet upstairs and the older children meet in the Student Center. The children return to their families at the conclusion of the sermon. Although there is flexibility on which service you can attend every Sunday, we do ask that you register for the service that your children will be at the majority of the time. Their learning time involves Bible memory verses, The Big God Story, and a time of response to the story. Depending on their age group, they will be responding to the story in different ways and it usually varies every week.

Children’s Chapel Volunteer Needs:

We are in need of adult volunteers and middle school/high school students that would be willing to be on a rotation (helping about once a month) during Children’s Chapel time for the 9:30 and 11:00 services (especially in need of help for the 11:00 am Sunday service)  Please contact Kirsten Gill if you would be willing to be a part of our Sunday morning children’s learning time.
