WORSHIP! God is beyond description. God simply is and has always been. God is the Alpha and the Omega. Yet through worship God works to reveal more of Himself to each of us. Far too often we lose the WONDER OF GOD in the clutter of this world. So every Sunday, on the first day of the week, we gather and worship as followers of Jesus. God comes to us and we are restored and renewed as his much-loved sons and daughters. The Holy Spirit moves amongst like the cool breeze on a hot day. Jesus is present as the light in the darkness.
Worship at Central is the heartbeat of our life together in Christ. Wonder is awakened through the Holy Spirit and Word of God. Hearts are strangely warmed as the Holy Spirit feeds us the Word of God and our eyes are opened as bread is broken and wine shared at the table. We gather every Sunday praying that Jesus Christ will be honored, glorified, adored, loved and worshipped! Each of our three Sunday morning worship experiences have a distinct style but our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will have freedom to lead and guide each gathering.
8:15 – TRADITIONS worship uses the Lutheran Book of Worship. The organ accompanies the hymns and liturgy
9:30 – BLENDED worship uses a variety of styles. Children through fifth grade are dismissed at 9:55 to be part of Path Finders from 10:00 to 10:45.
11:00 – INNOVATIONS worship is ever changing as we seek to experience and celebrate the presence of Jesus. 3 year olds through Kindergarten have a special time during the message.
Holy Communion is celebrated at the 1st and 3rd Worship services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and celebrated at the 2nd Worship service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. All who belong to the Lord are invited to share in the meal. Baptisms are scheduled at non-communion services.
Guests are encouraged to stop at the Welcome Center to learn more about Central. All Sunday opportunities are open to everybody whether you are a member or not.
