Discover Central - New Member & Informational Class - Feb. 3
Are you new to Central and desire to hear more about who we are? Maybe you are ready to take the next step and become official church members? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then this session is for you!
Please join us for the next Discover Central Class, on February 3, 2024 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
If you have any questions, please contact Kirsten Gill kirsten.gill@clcelkriver.org
The focus of Congregational Care is to serve the faith community of Central. We pray we develop connections with each and every member of this family and in the process learn how better to serve them.
PRAYER REQUESTS
We consider it a tremendous blessing to be able to come alongside you through prayer.
We know that life can bring times of difficulties; we want to be here to help you during those times.
Are you a prayer warrior? We believe in the power of prayer and praying for others. If you would like to be a part of our praying chain contact Kirsten Gill at 763-441-2363 or kirsten.gill@clcelkriver.org
COMMUNITY RESOURCES
CARING MINISTERS VISITATIONS
It is a commitment of Central Lutheran Church to bring the Heart of Christ to people who cannot regularly come to worship. A pastoral visit or a Caring Minister visit can be arranged for you. Home, hospital, transition or care center visits may be scheduled for those in need of company or prayer. Please note that institutions are unable to contact us directly due to privacy laws so we need to hear from you or your family. Please contact Kirsten Gill at the church office at 763-441-2363.
COUNSELING
If you, or a loved one, need one-on-one counseling, contact the Congregational Care office. We’d be happy to work with you to connect you with area counseling services
GRIEFSHARE
GriefShare is a weekly seminar and support group. It is a 13-week series hosted at Central typically 2-3 times a year. GriefShare is to help those who have lost loved ones rebuild their lives. Two companion programs that we also offer with GriefShare are the Loss of a Spouse and Surviving the Holidays seminars. Loss of a Spouse is held the week before GriefShare starts as an introductory to what the GriefShare program is all about. Surviving the Holidays is typically held in November and is focused on providing tips and guidance during the holiday season without your loved ones.
