OPERATION HELP A VILLAGE
Operation Help a Village has raised money for a goat (actually several animals), helped to build a well and built infant kits for mothers in Tanzania. This year the kids are going to be assembling Hospice Kits for elderly in northern Tanzania.
They are collecting money and the following supplies (all new).One Hospice Kit contains these items:
- 1 bath towel (regular size)
- 1 washcloth (not microfiber)
- 1 bath-size bar unscented soap (such as Dove Unscented, in original packaging)
- 1 Tooth brush (in original, individual package)
- 1 pick-style comb
- 1 nail clipper (larger size preferred)
- 6 band-aids, rubber banded together
- 1 jar or tube of pure petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline, 4 oz. lid taped)
- 1 pair of heavy-duty household gloves (kitchen type, medium)
Bring your donations to the table in the Lobby on Sunday mornings, December 3, 10 and 17.
